Fusion Finish Bathtub,Shower,Tile Resurfacing
Fusion finish coat is a high gloss polymer coating that penetrates the old surface and bonds into the old surface, not on top of the old surface like paint. Open the door, come on in and look around by clicking the Fusion Finish Button Below.
How does Fusion Finish Compare the D.I.Y. Kits
Please know that the D.I.Y. kits sold at home improvement stores are nothing more then oil based or Alkyd paint. True epoxy could not be mixed in a can and left for months, not even days... in fact not over 3 to 4 hours! It's frustrating to see how these companies label a product that they absolutely know will not work if a tub is used even 3 times a week.... it will fail within 3 months. By Fail I mean peel off, because the paint is on top of the surface not bonded INTO the surface. Professional Bathtub Refinishing is not rocket science... however, science is involved to understand how to apply the right amount of air.... even the type of air! Let me explain. The air that is used to apply the coating is very hot. This removes any moisture from the air so little bubbles don't form on the surface. Truth is most refinishers have no Idea why the air is hot.... so to make themselves more comfortable they sporadically turn the machine on and off. This alone produces an inferior job!

Bathtub Rust Removal - For those of us with the Air conditioning coils above the tub we know that the condensation drain may become clogged, and when it does..... what a mess! If this happens to you and you try all of your favorite cleaners don't just assume you need bathtub refinishing services. Try one more thing first. There is a product called wink. It is sold at Walmart and I am sure other stores too but since my wife only knows how to drive to Walmart ... that is were we purchase it. (I'm joking, she also knows how to get to the Salon) Ok. So back to the info. Wink is actually made for rust removal in clothes it contains a product called hydroflouric acid. This is the key ingredient we used in the old days to etch (remove the glaze) tubs. So don't leave this on your tub very long. Truth is if it is going to work it will work so fast you could write your initials in the rust stain. Seriously works that quick. It may be worth a $10.00 bottle before calling to have your bathtub refinished. Its in a liquid form. PLEASE DON'T TOUCH IT. This is bad stuff! the bottle has a tip on it that allows you to squeeze the liquid out. Just squeeze it along the top of the rust let it run down wash within a minute or so with cold water and rinse it well.
It's a sign of the times when you have to put fine print of free information BUT..... Please know: I am not affiliated with wink, nor am I authorized by wink to tell you to use the product in a manner inconsistent with it's label. I posted this information because I have personally used the product on hundreds of bathtubs during the last 22 years for rust removal. Please use caution. Test a small inconspicuous area first.
